IAmRev

Rev delivers a unique sound melding soulful harmonies and rich R&B vocals over contemporary rhythms. With lyrical creativity to his musical compositions, his music draws listeners in with subtlety and introspective profundity. Bringing a distinctive angle to his R&B-informed arranging, he creates nuanced space for improvisation and discovery.

As a Harlem native, Rev was inspired by his soulful neighborhood and his musical family; he grew up singing in his local church choir alongside his mother. After many years of training for professional sports a serious athletic injury helped ReV decide to pursue his passion for singing and songwriting full-time and began his musical debut as a member of Vocally Inspired People (ViP). In December 2021 Rev left the duo to begin his solo career.

These days, Rev continues to release fresh music and provide Song Writing Mentorships for artists looking to formalize a new song. He also offers features with mix and master and songwriting consultations.
